Founded in 1983, Gunite Specialist Inc. started as a small company in Norristown PA with only a handful of employees. Our vision was to form partnerships with local swimming pool builders and become the construction arm in their process. Over the last 35+ years, we have formed hundreds of relationships with swimming pool builders and have completed thousands of swimming pool projects.
Today, Gunite Specialist Inc. has become one of the largest and most successful Gunite companies on the East Coast. Each member of our team is equipped with the industry’s latest tools and equipment. Every project we complete is completed by a member of our team; never a subcontractor! Members of each crew have been trained in the latest and most efficient techniques and oversaw by an experienced supervisor. Quality construction is the cornerstone of our company and is demanded on every job. Over the years, Gunite Specialist Inc. has responded to the needs of our builders and has expanded to 3 divisions: Gunite Specialists, GSI Pool Finishes, and GSI Concrete. Deploying these three divisions has enabled our company to tackle almost all phases of the swimming pool construction. Our team is equipped to handle excavation, steel, rebar, gunite, tile, coping, plaster, and concrete flatwork and has grown to one of the largest swimming pool contractors in the country.
